TUI Travel is one of the world’s leading leisure travel groups, operating in over 180 countries and more than 30 million customers. Their logo is quite distinctive, and a nice play on mixing the T, U, and I together in a way to also create a happy face. The designer behind the branding did well to create such a logo that is easily recognisable and fits right in with a travel company.

Robert Novak has come up with a slightly different take on the branding, still following the distinctive shape, but allowing for more creative freedom with the colours and style of the logo. Robert’s effort implies more creativity and playfulness, which is great for a travel company and would breathe new life into what is already a great brand.

UPDATE: Having already published the logo on Dribbble, Robert has since followed up the logo with an animation detailing the process behind the logo and some stylistic touches included.
