Time magazine is one the most iconic media outlets in the world. Having featured everyone from President Obama to Michael Phelps, even to Adolf Hitler, is it synonymous with bringing critical news, interviews and photography on a weekly basis to readers both in print and online. Their website is heavily optimised to mobile friendly, as is the case largely nowadays, with good typography and ease of use for navigation and searching. Despite this, Anton Repponen has other ideas on how he thinks the site should look.
Bringing a clearer navigation and suggested articles, Anton’s version is immediately much neater and easier on the eye. With a good eye on the typography still, Anton’s use of good UX along with great full-screen backgrounds for articles is a great design direction and worthy of being a design for Time magazine.
