National Geographic has always been known primarily for its great imagery and prize-winning photography, as well insightful articles and pieces about the natural world. With their distinctive yellow and black branding, the non-profit society are one of the world’s most trusted brands and with 50 million readers worldwide every month, shows no signs of moving from that trustworthy position.

The Nat Geo magazine app in the App Store is typical of their branding and is instantly recognisable, with yellow touches all over and a great focus on imagery. Following the trend of flat design, Enes Daniş has captured perfectly National Geographic’s focus on great imagery and presented a redesign his own style and flavour. With great icons, titles and side-navigation menus, all presented in that famous yellow, Enes’ version is a great attempt at redesigning an app already loved by millions.
