Model Mayhem is a website that focuses on allowing photographers and models to demonstrate their talents for free and to allow other users to browse profiles, scout models and look for specialist photographers for their own portfolio. Despite being a very good website for these purposes, the overall design of the site is quite dated and quite often is a mess to navigate. As a result, many designers have tried their hand at redesigning it, but Larry West’s attempt stands out the most for me.

Being a designer and a photographer himself, Larry has seen the gap for the redesign and designed a great-looking new version of Model Mayhem to allow for better navigation, browsing of models and photographers, and ways of contacting other users. With a small rebrand included in the design, Larry’s version is a massive improvement on the age-old Model Mayhem and I for one would love to see a version very similar to this go live.
