Last.fm is a “music discovery service that gives you personalised recommendations based on the music you listen to.” In other words, play some Black Sabbath and it will start to recommend Ozzy Osbourne’s solo stuff as related music that you might want to try. Last.fm’s scrobbling service is also a a great feature, allowing you to link Spotify and iTunes to help populate and fill out your Last.fm profile and gather more recommendations. Their current website is a rather standard affair in terms of presenting only what it needs to, which is easy access to music and artists for users.

Jaromir Kveton has attempted a redesign of the Last.fm homepage to more adequately describe what Last.fm do immediately, giving the user the knowledge of the service straight away and advertising the core and best features of Last.fm. With a heavy focus on the Last.fm red, the proposed redesign is more informative, stylish and concise than the current website on offer.the current website on offer.
