Evernote is a cross-platform app and tool used by a range of different people for anything from budgeting, to note-making, writing and inspiration gathering. It’s simply a great service for people who like everything in one place, and with syncing available across all devices, you can take it everywhere with you. That doesn’t mean to say that it’s perfect though. The Mac OS X can feel dated at times, so much so, that designers have been redesigning the app across Dribbble for a while. One though, stands out more than most.

Designed by Andrei Usoltsev, Evernote for Mac is a complete overhaul of the look and feel of the OSX app. Fixing a lot of the UX issues and bringing in a stark, contrasting palette, Andrei’s version is much cleaner and attractive to use than the current version. Aside from some contrast issues, I would love to use this version over the official definitely and a credit to Andrei for his vision.
