deviantART is a great site for designers, artists, photographers and viewers to upload, view, critique and collect amazing pieces of design, photos and arts and crafts. Although the site has improved over recent years to accommodate modern browsing, the site still feels a few years behind every other creative site out there, especially Behance.

Erik Lindén has come up with a concept that drags deviantART kicking and screaming into the 21st century and modern browsing. The core site follows a main grid, with off canvas navigation for both sides of the screen – one for main menu stuff, and the other for signing in and profile links – and features a much darker tone set by the original. Although still featuring brand colours, the site is far removed from the current look and is sleeker, easier to navigate and is far more enticing.
